However, Apple's Mac OS X includes user-friendly signature creation embedded in the native Preview app. An image of your handwritten signature is captured once and can be included with a click in thousands of documents.

The default 'Sent from my iPad' email signature lacks the professionalism of a corporate email client, but you can add some interest to emails sent from your iPad with a personalized signature with an embedded JPEG image. The most efficient way to configure this more complex sign-off is by copying and pasting the elements from another email on your iPad.
Create the Signature
Create your desired signature in your computer's word-processing software, adding textual elements if desired. Drag and drop the JPEG image from your computer into the document and ensure it appears the way you'd like. Use your mouse to highlight everything -- including the JPEG -- and copy and paste the content to a new email, which you'll send to yourself and open on your iPad.
Copy the Signature
With the Mail app launched and the email open on your iPad, long-press your finger on any block of text in the signature. Drag the selection boundary handles until all of the desired content in your signature is highlighted -- make sure you include all JPEG images -- and tap 'Copy.' Press the 'Home' button to exit your email and navigate to the Home screen.
Configure the Signature
Launch the 'Settings' app, tap 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and then scroll down and tap 'Signature.' Select the name of the signature you'd like to modify and erase whatever content is currently being used. Long-press in the signature's text window and tap 'Paste,' then verify that your new signature and image are imported.
